The All-India Arm-wrestling Championship will be jointly hosted by Orissa Arm-wrestling Association and Utkal Karate School at Kalinga Gymnasium in Cuttack from June 13 to 15.
Around 600 arm-wrestlers from 28 States are expected to vie for honour in the three-day event, organising committee secretary Hari Prasad Pattanayak said in Bhubaneswar today.
This is the fourth time that Orissa will play host to the arm-wrestling National. The State earlier staged the event in 1990 (at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack), 2000 (Barabati Stadium, Cuttack) and 2004 (Puri).
